About The Contest
The Waikato Bay of Plenty Brass Band Regional Contest celebrates and showcases local musical talent, fosters the growth of brass musicians of all ages, strengthens community connections, and supports local bands through fundraising and exposure.
The objective of the Waikato Bay of Plenty Brass Band Regional Contest is to provide a competitive platform that encourages musical excellence, nurtures talent development, and unites communities while generating support and funding for local brass bands.
